Beer lovers rejoice, Greeley’s OktoBrewfest 2021 is just around the corner. Here’s what you can expect this year.

Beer lovers, rejoice! OktoBrewfest is just around the corner.
Greeley's OktoBrewfest 2021 is set to take place Sept. 24 and 25 at Lincoln Park in Downtown Greeley, 8th Street and 9th Avenue.
The kick-off will take place Friday from 5-10 p.m. with beer, brats, wings, music and more. Enjoy friendly challenges with life-sized beer pong, hatchet throwing, and WOW bubbles. Attendees can also enjoy whimsical polka and world music by the Twirling Succhinis followed by a classic rock performance by Dave Beegle and the Jurassicasters. Visual performances by Fahrenheit 360 Fire Spinners and Spectra Circus will also be on hand, according to a news release.
The event will continue from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday with music, a wide variety of specialty brews, food vendors, games, and more.
Kids can enjoy the children’s area until 6 p.m., according to the release, which will include face painting, balloon art, an obstacles course, arcade games, shaved ice, an inflatable slide, WOW Bubbles, pumpkin decorating and more.
A new addition for young families this year is the Peake Wellness Nursing Station so nursing Moms can take a break in comfort.
Saturday's entertainment will also includes the Children's Chorale, UNC Jazz Band, Randy Eckhart and the Dutch Hop Music Makers, and Brothers of the Son with their southern rock, according to a news release. There will also be performances by the Conservatory Dance Studio and the Volkstanzgruppe dancers. Saturday evening will also include Fahrenheit 360 and Spectra Circus.
There may be some tickets left for the VIP tasting tent where you can sample reserve beer, meet and greet professional brewers and take home a commemorative tasting glass, according to the release. Tickets for the VIP tent are $40 and can be purchased at the Central ID/Token booth. Or if you’re planning ahead, you can find them on Eventbrite.com.
All proceeds from Greeley OktoBrewfest and the VIP Beer Tasting benefit the Greeley Downtown Development Authority, a non-profit which helps foster economic development and revitalization of downtown Greeley.
