Sunrise Community Health, a nonprofit healthcare center in northern Colorado, is looking for volunteers to help with its COVID-19 vaccine clinics in Evans and Loveland.

Even if you don’t have a medical background, you can help out. You also don’t need to already be vaccinated to lend a hand.

Sunrise is looking for folks who can help with the following:

  • Greeting vaccine recipients upon arrival;

  • Screening recipients for COVID-19 symptoms and taking temperatures upon arrival;

  • Directing traffic and flow within the clinic;

  • Sanitizing and disinfecting areas;

  • Stocking supplies and materials;

  • Helping patients fill out forms.

According to Sunrise, volunteers must:

  • Be at least 15 years old;

  • Wear a mask for the entire volunteer time;

  • Wear closed-toed shoes;

  • Sign a confidentiality agreement.
