Glass Half Full: The Kress Cinema & Lounge to reopen Friday for movies and drinks
By Kelly Ragan
After more than a year of disrupted service, the Kress Cinema & Lounge will reopen Friday.
The Kress, open Friday and Saturday this weekend, will show two films.
Minari
Minari tells the tender, sweeping story about a Korean-American family that moves to an Arkansas farm in search of their own American Dream. The family home changes completely with the arrival of their sly, foul-mouthed, but incredibly loving grandmother. Amidst the instability and challenges of this new life in the rugged Ozark, Minari shows the undeniable resilience of family and what really makes a home.
Cooler still, Denver-born director Lee Isaac Chung is the mastermind behind the film starring Seven Yeun, Scott Haze, Yuh-Jung Youn, Yeri Han, Eric Starkey and Will Patton.
