Glass half full: You can help the families impacted by the Boulder shooting this week. Here’s how.

On Monday, 10 people were killed in a shooting at a south Boulder King Soopers when a gunman opened fire.
As families begin to pick up the pieces of their newly shattered worlds, police continue to investigate the shooting, and Colorado grieves another mass shooting, the helpers have begun to emerge.
If you’re looking to help, these organizations are a good way to get started.
Colorado Healing Fund
The Colorado Healing Fund is a nonprofit, founded in 2018, that aims to give the public a secure way to contribute to those impacted by mass casualty crimes in Colorado.

The Community Foundation Boulder County
The Community Foundation Boulder County created the Boulder County Crisis Fund in the aftermath of Monday’s shooting. Funds will go toward supporting the needs of those directly affected by the shooting and the needs of the community to heal.

Colorado State Lodge Fraternal Order of Police
Boulder Police officer Eric Talley was among the victims of Monday’s shooting. Talley was the first officer to arrive at the supermarket, according to the Boulder Daily Camera.
