Looking for ways to be a helper? United Way of Weld County needs your donations

Feeling a bit restless these days? Want to do something to help someone? United Way of Weld County is seeking donations.

Here’s what United Way is looking for:

For healthcare workers and folks working with vulnerable populations

  • Personal protective equipment

  • Homemade masks

For Housing Navigation Center and Cold Weather Shelter

  • Meals

  • Healthy snacks

  • Underwear (small, medium and large for men and women)

  • Hand sanitizer

  • Sanitizing wipes

  • Cleaning/sanitizing supplies

  • Toilet paper

  • Paper towels

For Family Support through Promises for Children

  • Diapers sizes 4, 5, and 6

  • Baby formula

For child care providers and centers

  • Gloves

  • Cleaning solution

  • Toilet paper

  • Paper towels

  • Kleenex

For A Woman’s Place

  • Laundry Soap

  • Baby wipes

  • Disinfectant spray/wipes

  • Toilet paper

  • Kleenex

For Catholic Charities

  • Surgical masks

  • Hand sanitizer

  • Store bought and packaged clothing

  • Pre-packaged food, fresh or frozen

  • Non-perishable food such as canned goods, pastas, rice, beans, etc.

  • Sanitizing products such as wipes, cleaning spray, bottles of bleach, etc.

  • Toilet paper

For Greeley Family House

  • Septic system toilet paper

  • Fragrance free laundry detergent, powder

  • 70% rubbing alcohol

  • Hand sanitizer

For Hope at Miracle House

  • Toilet paper

  • Sanitizing wipes

  • Diapers for newborns

  • Enfamil for babies

To donate, drop bins off at the United Way office at 814 9th St.  between 1-4 p.m. Call the office at (970) 353-4300 to let staff know you’re donating.
