Union Colony Civic Center is set to present David Brighton’s Space Oddity – The Quintessential David Bowie Experience 7:30 p.m. Saturday.

Attendees can expect a musical journey through the metamorphosing career of rock and roll’s most celebrated innovator, according to the UCCC website. Experience Bowie’s transformation from space-age rock idol to polished mainstream media star as Brighton and the Space Oddity Band transport audiences through some exciting moments in music history.  

David Brighton is credited as being the world’s best David Bowie impersonator, according to the band’s website. Brighton appeared side-by-side with Bowie himself in a couple TV commercials. He was also cast to portray Bowie in the Warner Brothers feature film, The Watchmen.  

The LA Review had this to say about Brighton’s performance:

“David Brighton's charisma keeps the audience mesmerized and his vocals are flawless… His likeness to Bowie is eerie… The crowd actually gasped in amazement as he took the stage... you wondered if it wasn't really Bowie himself…What Brighton and band give is nothing short of the opportunity to go back in time.
