You have the chance to help kids at Greeley-Evans School District 6 score some new musical instruments while enjoying a night of music.

The Burroughs Variety Show Telethon, which takes place Wednesday, is an online event that will feature more than 10 northern Colorado performers, including:

  • Armando Silva & Alicia Viezcas, hip-hop dance

  • Giants & Pilgrims, Greeley folk indie band

  • Trash Cat, Greeley indie-pop trio

  • Jenna McClean, Greeley jazz artist

  • Julia Kirkwood, Fort Collins youth singer-songwriter

  • Hannah and the Cuddies, Greeley funk band

  • The Great Salmon Famine, Fort Collins/Greeley jam band

  • Ben Pu, Greeley singer-songwriter

  • Graham Good & the Painters, Fort Collins jam band

  • Boss Eagle, Fort Collins hip-hop artist

  • DJ Fullmetal, DJ performing at top and tail of the show

The event, hosted by 105.5 Colorado Sound’s Margot Chobanian, aims to raise money to benefit The Success Foundation for District 6.

Proceeds will go toward music education programs in the district, specifically toward buying new instruments.

Every $50 raise will purchase a new ukulele or keyboard for students, said Briana Harris, manager of The Burroughs, in an email.
