The Greeley Philharmonic Orchestra will accompany the classic soul music of Aretha Franklin on Saturday, according to a news release.

Broadway performer Capathia Jenkins and Grammy award nominee Ryan Shaw are set to join the Greeley Philharmonic as vocalists, showcasing popular hits such as “Respect,” “Think,” “A Natural Woman” and others.

Symphonies across the country have played in a tribute performance to Aretha Franklin as part of this national tour, including orchestras in Seattle, Houston, Pittsburg and more.

Jenkins is known for her Broadway and off-Broadway credits, including her most recent role as Medda in the Disney production of “Newsies,” according to the release. She has also performed in symphonies around the world, including the Cleveland Orchestra, Houston Symphony, and the Hong Kong Philharmonic.

Shaw is known for his appearance on America’s Got Talent in 2015. He’s also received three Grammy nods for his solo projects, including tracks “I Am Your Man,” and “In Between.” Shaw also originated the role of Stevie Wonder in “Motown: The Musical” on Broadway, and now leads the “Aretha: A Tribute” performance in symphony halls across the country.
