The City of Greeley is asking residents to help it decide how to spend $18.8 million in money it received as part of the American Rescue Plan Act.
The American Rescue Plan Act is a stimulus program that was signed into law in 2021 as part of President Joe Biden’s COVID-19 recovery plan.
According to the City of Greeley, the city has identified four categories of allowable expenses related to pandemic recovery efforts. Those categories, according to the city, include:
Building community resilience
Enhancing mobility
Creating community, quality of life, and destinations
Activating economic corridors
