Have you ever wanted to tell the City of Greeley exactly how you think it should spend its money? Here’s your chance.

The City of Greeley is asking residents to help it decide how to spend $18.8 million in money it received as part of the American Rescue Plan Act.

The American Rescue Plan Act is a stimulus program that was signed into law in 2021 as part of President Joe Biden’s COVID-19 recovery plan.

According to the City of Greeley, the city has identified four categories of allowable expenses related to pandemic recovery efforts. Those categories, according to the city, include:

  • Building community resilience

  • Enhancing mobility

  • Creating community, quality of life, and destinations

  • Activating economic corridors
